Sick or Urgent Visits
If your child is sick and needs to been seen, we offer same day sick visit appointments, please contact us between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
If you can't decide whether or not you should schedule an appointment, our nurses can assist you during your phone call. If you feel that your child's problem is potentially life threatening, you should call 911. If your child has suffered an injury, that is eye, limb or life threatening, you should proceed to the nearest emergency room. Otherwise, please call any of our offices to schedule an appointment at one of the following numbers:

After Hours
After 5:00 p.m. (Monday thru Friday), call our answering service at 229-328-4600
The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta advice nurse will return your call within an hour, guide you, and help you manage your child's problem. If needed, they will connect you to the ON-CALL Georgetown Pediatrics physician for additional assistance and for emergencies that need immediate attention and cannot be deferred to the following business day. The ON-CALL physician will NOT call in medications. There are NO EXCEPTIONS! If your child is sick and you feel he or she needs a prescription medication after hours, then your child must be seen. We do NOT call in refills of any medications after hours. There are NO EXCEPTIONS! You must call the office during normal business hours for routine medication refills.
Saturdays
Saturdays, we do not have Saturday urgent care at this time.

Prescription Refills
Routine prescription refills are done during our regular business hours. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for ALL refills.
